Our team is reaching out for expert assistance with a currently downed WordPress website, previously functioning on a load balanced, MySQL backed, dual-webserver system. Due to recent changes implemented on the website, we've experienced detrimental performance issues, culminating in a full website crash. Our key goal is recovery, followed by refinement of the system's performance. The ideal candidate would: - Understand and navigate load balanced environments - Have experience with MySQL database servers and WordPress - Be familiar with file sync systems like syncthing This project will entail: - Immediate recovery of the crashed WordPress website and ensuring its continued uptime - Identification and resolution of performance issues, with a focus on preventing recurring website downtimes - Optimization of our current webserver and MySQL database setup, potentially revisiting our syncthing setup Full detail: We have a load balancer, two webservers, and a database server running mysql in our environment. We have wordpress website that runs on this setup. We've had the two webservers keeping files in sync using syncthing. However, on the recommendation of an experienced engineer we converted one of our webservers to a fileserver - because the sync setup was creating errors. Now we have the load balancer,two webservers, a file server (cloned from one of the webserver), and the database server. We now need to configure the environment for Wordpress to work with this architecture. We need an engineer that can change the overall design to meet the new configuration and get the site up and running. Thorough communication is key for this job, as we'll need to understand the execution plan for the recovery and its potential impact on the current setup. Experience in recovering crashed WordPress sites and optimizing server setups is vital.
