**Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Music Industry Outreach Specialist to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the music industry and experienced in digital marketing and outreach. You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and contacting music industry professionals, including A&R managers, music producers, and artist managers, to submit demo tracks and promote emerging artists. This position offers flexible hours with a focus on results and performance. **Responsibilities:** - **Contact Identification and Research:** - Utilize various online tools and databases to research and compile a list of key music industry professionals, such as A&R executives, playlist curators, music managers, and record label executives. - Maintain an organized database of contacts, including names, positions, companies, and contact details. - **Email & Socials Campaign Management:** - Draft compelling and personalized email pitches and outreach messages to introduce demo tracks and artists. - Send out emails and social media messages through a managed and systematic campaign, ensuring high levels of professionalism and adherence to industry standards. - Schedule follow-up communications to enhance engagement and response rates. - **Demo Submission:** - Coordinate the preparation and submission of demo materials, ensuring that all submissions adhere to the specific requirements and standards of the recipients. - Track submissions and manage responses to evaluate the effectiveness of the outreach efforts. - **Reporting and Analysis:** - Prepare reports on campaign results, including response rates, engagement levels, and any feedback received from industry professionals. - Use insights from campaigns to optimize future outreach strategies. - **Feedback Implementation:** - Incorporate feedback from music industry professionals to refine demo tracks, presentation formats, and outreach approaches. **Requirements:** - Proven experience in marketing, PR, or a similar role within the music industry preferred. - Strong understanding of the music industry, including key players and emerging trends. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to craft persuasive and customized emails. - Proficiency in CRM software and email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot). - High level of organization and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. - Strong networking skills and a knack for building relationships. **Preferred Skills:** - Fluent English , French would be great too, but not necessary! - A background in music or entertainment business. - Experience with digital distribution and music rights management. - Familiarity with social media platforms and digital analytics. **Education:** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Music Business, Communications, or related field is preferred but not required based on experience. **Compensation:** - This is a freelance position.
