I need a professional who's capable of modifying an existing Lua code. The successful candidate should be able to:

- Understand and work with existing codes

- Add an unincorporated parameter, specifically the 'tool tip radius coefficient,' into the current Lua code

- Develop a method for analyzing gear size data to determine the aforementioned parameter

Demonstrable experience in working with Lua language and proficiency in data analysis, specifically in gear size data, would be extremely beneficial in executing this task successfully. Strong understanding of gear parameters and a knack for intuitive problem-solving are greatly preferred.
