Brief Summary:
- vWorker.com reminder: You MAY NOT post the final solution for this (and any) project before your bid is accepted and funds are fully escrowed. Anyone who does may have their account permanently suspended. However, you CAN post:
- On programming projects: A prototype or functional demo...as long as source code is not provided.
- On graphics projects: A watermarked and low-resolution version of the work.
Need a flash menu created from the existing coffeecup swf file and supplied graphics.
Requirements Interview Answers:
To help you bid more accurately, the employer was interviewed about the requirements for this project. Below are their answers.
Untitled Page
Other Requirements:
Requiremens:
to produce Flash menu delivering all source files for Adobe Flash CS4.
The attached file as generated by Coffeecup Flash menu builder has the correct buttons, submenus and behaviour that we require, however we would like the submenus to appear vertically under the main menu buttons. The actions for fading/sliding in/out should have a similar speed but the submenus should disappear when there is no mouse over event.
The code should be simple and constructed using Flash CS4 and Actionscript 3.0 or 2.0.
We require all source code and library files as we may want to make changes later.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the employer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the employer and worker agreements.
vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

He delivered on time, and did the work as per the spec but was not helpful in determining exactly what was required in the project and threatened arbitration action. He did not communicate clearly enough, and did not ask any questions but relied on his own understanding of a very general specification/requirements brief. He also failed to comment his code functions as to their usage or to provide good explanations on how to make changes.
He could have asked for and we would have given 1)more time and 2) more money if the requirements were outside his original understanding of the project, but he failed to do so and instead insisted he had completed the task - it didnt help us very much or make us feel we were working ont he same side to achieve a task goal so he effectively burned his bridges to any future work with us.
For that reason only we would not work with him on a larger or long-term project. His coding ability is good and he works fast, but would be unsuitable to someone who does not clearly know exactly what they want. |

Worker Rebuttal: After i placed bid, i told buyer that i will not able to take up project till tomorrow, still Buyer Accepted the bid putting deadline to one day.
I completed the project before deadline and has per requirement specifed in bid request.
We declined to fullfill additional requirements bucause buyer hasn't adopted fair practice and when they put presure to fullfill additional requirement we told them if they wish they can take bid to arbritation. i dont think that is threatning.
if one dont know what they want, how one can provide?
Even though we fullfill one additional requirement and did our job in the best way possible and so getting such rating isn't fair.
We have rated buyer to 8, but if any coder read this beware that the buyer is not good to work with. |
