Brief Summary:
  • vWorker.com reminder: You MAY NOT post the final solution for this (and any) project before your bid is accepted and funds are fully escrowed. Anyone who does may have their account permanently suspended. However, you CAN post:
    • On programming projects: A prototype or functional demo...as long as source code is not provided.
    • On graphics projects: A watermarked and low-resolution version of the work.

LAN Interface code in VB6

I am looking for a coder who will write a DLL and example code application in visual Basic 6 to communicate with an FMod-TCP DB Lan Interface device.

I have a small Winsock application already which will connect to the device.

I require the coder to provide an example application and DLL that I can use to read and write values to the LAN Server Interfaces Ports.

Link to web server documentation etc.

This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Friday Jul 16, 2010 10:04:00 AM:

I have a part done VB project already, unfortunately my last coder was unable to complete the work through no fault of their own. The work/code done will be given to the chosen coder to work on. The code will communicate with the server unit but does not fully provide the desired outcome, I would estimate it to be approximately 70% done to date. The FMOD server unit will be online and available for the coder to connect to and test their code via WAN. I would like to coder to give the project undivided attention and complete it for me in a timely manner. Some knowledge of I2C devices and their communication methods would be an advantage.
  • All deliverables must be uploaded to vWorker.com before the deadline(s) for this project...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then do not start this project...but instead alert vWorker.com of an un-arbitratable, illegal project.
  • Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the employer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the employer and worker agreements. vWorker.com monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation. If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.
