Installing the AccuTimeCard™ Desktop Application
The AccuTimeCard™ system has two parts. Part of it exists on this website, and part of it exists on every worker's desktop. If you are a worker, this allows you to log the time you work for employers and allows vWorker.com to guarantee your payment for billed time. You can bid on pay-for-time projects without installing it, but cannot begin work until you do. Once you download, install it and login, your profile will indicate that you are AccuTimeCard™ enabled. Below are instructions on how to do this:

  1. Make sure you have a standard webcam installed on your computer, from one of the major name-brand manufacturers: Logitech, Microsoft, Creative. Off brand cameras may have issues and be incompatible.
  2. Download the application by clicking on the link below that matches your operating system:
    • Windows
    • Linux (not yet available)
    • Macintosh (not yet available)

  3. Install the application. Some of the prerequisites may require rebooting your machine.

  4. Run the program and login for the first time:

  5. After logging in, you will see the project list page (which will be empty since you have not been awarded any projects yet):

  6. Your profile will now show that you are AccuTimeCard™ enabled, and you can now place bids on pay for time projects (click here for a list of projects that are open for bidding right now).
