*All arbitrations (Won, neutral, lost and pending). Lost arbitrations indicate the party did something wrong, while 'won' or 'neutral' arbitrations do not. (For example, an employer who simply exercised their money-back guarantee, or a worker who exercised their payment-guarantee must open an arbitration to have the pre-conditions verified. This does not indicate that they did anything wrong.) To get the full details on any concluded arbitration, see the arbitrator's comments on it.

Subjects...
I am mainly a computer and tech geek. I have four computers running now with Linux, Windows XP, and FreeBSD installed. Generally, I can tell you how to do anything from build a computer to installing a system to programming (I know about 15-20 languages) to gaming, online marketing, Web 2.0, computer system security, graphics tutorials - just about any computer-related topic.
Other fields of interest: coin and currency collecting and other hobbies, history and politics (need a pundit for the 2008 presidential election?) popular culture (especially a "geek" interest like Renaissance Faires or comic book conventions), movies and music (especially independent films), home and family stuff (home improvements), cooking and dining (I've done series on espresso, spices, wine...), math and logic (that doesn't sound exciting - until you think about gambling probability!), pets, adult and dating subjects (I've been a part of swinger's groups and BDSM clubs in the past)... Really I have very broad fields, so something I have no clue about is the exception rather than the rule.
Graphic Art...

Light Web Design and Programming...
Mainly for the basic web and scripting languages. I do not put myself forth as a master of coding, and will not take jobs that are beyond my skills. But for small simple jobs, I am competent in:
- HTML
- XHTML
- CSS
- PHP
- MySQL
- Javascript
- Actionscript
- C
- Bash (and other Unix shells), includes all of the standard Unix utilities (Awk, sed, etc.)
- Python
- Lisp
- Tcl/Tk

Resume:
After 20 years working in technology industries including Southern California Edison and Citigroup, inc., I retired and set up my 'second life' as a successful website maintainer, and this freelance work I'm doing here on the side.
I bet you thought the graphics work in my portfolio was done in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D Max? Well, surprise, it's all done with Free and Open Source software running on Linux! These programs include Gimp, Inkscape, POVRay, Blender, Xara Xtreme, and many others. I also run other free systems such as BSD and Solaris, plus hobby systems such as ReactOS and Plan 9 From Bell Labs. Whatever's running on my 4 networked computers, and the geekier the better.
Why bother to point out that I run Free and Open Source Software? The benefit to you is that I can afford to operate from home producing professional quality work at a home-made price.
This also puts me in a better position to work with you on your website, since when 70% of the Internet runs on Linux, why would you trust your site to someone who only runs Windows?
