We are looking for a skilled developer to create a Chrome browser extension that automates the filling of shipping address fields on various e-commerce platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Walmart. The extension will leverage data from our app to streamline user workflows by reducing manual data entry.
Project Scope:
Clipboard Monitoring: Develop an extension capable of detecting when specific clipboard data (e.g., name, address) is present.
Page Detection: Automatically identify when the user is on checkout pages of supported platforms like eBay, Amazon, and Walmart.
Auto-Fill Functionality: Implement functionality to autofill the checkout fields with clipboard data seamlessly across all supported platforms without user initiation.
User Review and Confirmation: Ensure the extension allows users to review and confirm the autofilled data before submission, enhancing accuracy and user trust.
Multi-Platform Adaptability: Design the extension to adapt to different HTML structures and field mappings of each supported e-commerce platform.
Security and Privacy: Maintain stringent security standards to ensure the protection of user data throughout the operation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in developing Chrome extensions.
Proficient in JavaScript with a good understanding of web technologies and browser security.
